**Bin Butler Valet Service Terms of Service**
### **1. Acceptance of Terms**
By scheduling and utilizing Bin Butler’s valet trash can service ("Service"), you ("Customer") agree to these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Bin Butler.
### **2. Service Description**
Bin Butler provides a valet trash can service that includes:
- Entering your property to retrieve trash and recycling bins.
- Placing bins at the curb for scheduled municipal pickup.
- Returning bins to their designated location after collection.
Bin Butler also offers separate **trash bin cleaning services**, which are not included in valet service unless booked separately.
### **3. Customer Responsibilities**
To ensure efficient service, Customers must:
- **Municipal Trash Guidelines:** Customers are responsible for following their local township’s trash and recycling guidelines, including:
- Approved trash and recycling bin types.
- Waste sorting and prohibited items.
- Collection days and placement regulations.
- Any local restrictions or special handling rules.
- Ensuring lids are properly closed and trash does not exceed bin capacity.
Bin Butler is **not responsible** for missed pickups due to non-compliance with municipal regulations.
- **Bin Placement:** Bins must be in an accessible and safe location for pickup. If bins are not in their designated location, we are not responsible for missed service.
- **Overflowing Bins:** Bins must not be overfilled. We are not responsible for handling trash that exceeds the bin's capacity or loose waste around bins.
- **Hazardous Materials:** Bins must be free of hazardous waste, including chemicals, oils, adhesives, medical waste, or anything restricted by local regulations.
- **Blocked Bins:** Ensure bins are accessible without obstructions such as locked gates, vehicles, or other barriers.
If these conditions are not met, our team may be unable to complete service, and the customer will still be charged for the scheduled service.
### **4. Dogs, Pets, & Property Safety**
- **Pets Must Be Secured:** If you have dogs or other pets in your yard, they **must be secured** prior to our arrival. Bin Butler is **not responsible for lost, escaped, or injured pets** if they are left in an area where we must retrieve bins.
- **Customer Assumes Risk:** If our team encounters an unsecured dog or aggressive animal, we reserve the right to **skip service** for that day, and the customer will still be charged.
- **Gates & Property Access:** Our team will ensure gates are closed after service; however, **we are not responsible if gates do not fully latch, reopen, or fail to secure properly due to pre-existing conditions or environmental factors (wind, faulty latches, uneven ground, etc.).** Customers should verify gate security after our visit.
### **5. Service Scheduling**
- **Arrival Time:** Bin Butler aims to operate within estimated service windows, but actual arrival times may vary. We may arrive earlier or later than the estimated time.
- **Missed Service:** If bins are not placed in an accessible location, service will not be rescheduled for that day, and the service fee is non-refundable.
### **6. Liability Disclaimer**
Bin Butler is **not responsible** for:
- **Damage to Bins or Property** when bins are not in their designated location.
- **Lost or Stolen Bins.** We will return bins to the designated area, but we are not responsible for bins lost, stolen, or taken by municipal collection services.
- **Acts of God & Weather Delays.** Severe weather conditions, natural disasters, or other uncontrollable events may impact service availability.
- **Water Damage or Other Unintended Consequences** caused by environmental conditions outside our control.
- **Pet Safety, Secured Gates, or Property Entry Issues.** Customers are responsible for ensuring pets are safe and gates are secured before and after service.
- **Municipal Non-Compliance.** We are not responsible for bins left uncollected due to customer non-compliance with municipal trash regulations.
### **7. Payment & Subscription Terms**
- **Payments:** Customers must have a valid payment method on file before service.
- **Recurring Service:** Customers on a recurring valet schedule will be billed automatically based on the selected frequency.
- **Cancellation Policy:** Customers may cancel service at any time with at least **24-hour notice before the next scheduled pickup** to avoid being charged.
### **8. Team Identification**
Bin Butler’s team will be identifiable through uniforms or company-branded apparel. If you have any concerns about service personnel, please contact us immediately.
### **9. Modification of Terms**
Bin Butler reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Customers will be notified of significant updates via email or our website.
